We made it to my parents house last night, a couple hours earlier than expected.
Their new house is gorgeous.
Their new neigborhood has all these cool old live oak trees that squiggle in all kinds of odd directions.
My youngest daughter is in love with the lizard population, in it's abundance here.
My eldest is in love with their cable tv.
My husband is in love with my mom's cooking.
And I'm just plain happy.
Even if I did a REALLY bad job of spraying sunscreen on my husband's back.
Funny stuff did actually happen. But I don't remember any of it to share, so sorry!

Doomy fell for a lizard population and being the ignorant parent I was, told her she could have a lizard if she could catch one. I think she caught 3. Thus started the "lizard years"...
